The most perfect place to stay
I would like to thank Dave and Sue for a wonderful stay. This was our 3rd visit at trefoil the room was first class and the food was perfect. They make you most welcome nothing is to much trouble for them. I definitely would give this bed and breakfast 5stars. We will be back again next year.

Amazing property
Sue and Dave are a very accomadating couple nothing was too much trouble breakfast was fabulous kept us going all day the rooms were spotless with comfortable beds and plenty of tea and coffee to keep you going will definitely be rebooking when we are down that way again a little gem thank you so much

Excellent stay
we were given a very warm welcome by Susan and Dave. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and a great selection of breakfast options available. A good location with only a 10 minute walk to the harbour. Would definitely stay again when visiting Brixham.

Beautiful and welcoming
Susan & David, Are by far the most welcoming and accommodating hosts, including their lovely dog Bodie.Always helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. Room was beautifully presented and everything was there and more if you asked for it.Breakfasts were lovely and gut busting. Once you have a breakfast from David you are set for the day.Thank you both again.

We loved our stay at Trefoil. Lovely room, very friendly and welcoming hosts (including of the four-legged variety!) and a great breakfast. Location is very convenient and only a short walk into town. We would be very happy to recommend!

Dave and Sue made me very welcome at the Guest House.The rooms are clean and comfortable,and have a small fridge which is a bonus in a hotel or Guest house.The shower is fab,spacious with a good flow of water.Breakfast is plentiful,and freshly cooked,and very tasty.Parking is easy,if you can't park on-site.It is a short walk into the town centre,great for walking off your breakfast.If you are in Brixham,I would recommend staying at the Trefoil.

First Rate B&B
Everything about Trefoils is excellent and all aspects well above the average. The breakfast was superb with a wide choice. High quality bed linen, large fluffy towels and a good sized TV. Dave & Susan excellent hosts. Highly recommended

A great find! Stopped for two nights. Great location.Room very cosy and comfortable. Quality bed linen and fixtures and fittings. Fab bathroom with large walk in shower. Breakfast faultless - excellent quality and perfectly cooked. My partner likes to find fault with places - he gave it 11/10. We will defo return.

Friendly convenient clean
Sue & Dave are very welcoming and they run a very pleasant guest house. Room was clean & suited our needs. Good shower, lovely towels, nice to have a fridge in the room. Well placed for walks into Brixham harbour & easy access to other destinations.

4 nights at Trefoil.
This accommodation is absolutely first class, Dave and Sue are excellent hosts and take great care to ensure a most enjoyable stay.The breakfasts are cooked to perfection, the small fridge in the bedroom housing fresh milk and water and their tea is a well known brand so goes down very nicely. From start to finish, Fantastic.

This is the second time I have stayed at Trefoil with Sue and Dave as hosts and I have to say it just gets better and better. Nothing is too much trouble and you made to feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. The breakfast is amazing and freshly cooked and again they will cater for all your dietary needs. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable with added extras to make it perfect. WithoutI would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a perfect location to explore Brixham in an amazing environment. Can't wait to return next year.

How lovely was this stay? We were shown to our very comfortable room and a very detailed chat informed us about the room, the local bus routes etc. We had, in advance of our stay been sent a list of recommended restaurants and bars,I am sure we will return.... thank you x

Amazing weekend away
What an amazing bed and breakfast. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. Greeted by amazing hosts Susan and Dave, who instantly made you feel welcome. They showed us to our rooms and helped us settle in. Their knowledge of the area was very impressive and recommend some fantastic walks, boat tours and restaurants. Susan and Dave couldn’t do enough for us, checking in and saying hello whenever we saw them! We had breakfast on both mornings and all we can say is WOW! Amazing portion sizes, locally sourced food and beautifully cooked! Fresh tea, coffee and juice available too. Cleared our plates every time!We can honestly say, Susan and Dave made us feel more like family they guests at their Bed and Breakfast, what more could you ask for. Our next trip is already booked.

Lovely stay in Brixham.
They probably tire of hearing this, but Dave and Sue are fabulous hosts. Their hospitality and attention to detail are reflected in the lovely accommodation of the rooms. Bright, clean and fresh, our room was perfect. With a small fridge and view of the garden, it met and surpassed our needs. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Thank you Dave and Sue.

Secret find
We stayed with Sue and Dave for two nights and were not disappointed. The room was clean and well presented with thoughtful touches like luxury toiletries, hairdryer and even an umbrella for our own use.Sue and Dave were the perfect hosts who made us feel welcome and could not have been more helpful and we enjoyed several chit chatty conversations with them. We will definitely stay with them again.

Perfect Oasis of Calm
During a very busy three day weekend, the Trefoil was a warm, comfortable, beautifully appointed oasis for quiet and rest. Comfy beds, super soft linens, and truly award winning breakfasts. Thank you for such a a lovely stay!

Lovely & Comfortable
Sue and David were great hosts. We arrived late in the evening due to traffic and bad weather. David helped us with the luggage and prepared sandwiches and a glass of wine.

This is a lovely guest house, very clean & tidy.The owners are very welcoming including their lovely dog. They have a great knowledge of the area and will recommend places to go and visit.The option for breakfast is great, and very well presented.I loved that they offer you fresh milk for your room, which is perfect to be able to make a cuppa when you want.It's about a 10 minute walk to the harbour.We shall definitely stay here again.

A Rare Find!
Trefoil Guest House is a short (10-15minute) walk from Brixham harbour.The house is beautifully furnished and immaculately clean throughout.The breakfast menu is impressive and the cooked items are served piping hot and attractively presented (and the portions are very generous!).Hosts Susan and Dave are friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble.(I stayed in room 2, which is ideal for one person but may feel a bit too cosy for two people.My travel companion stayed in room 6 which is more spacious, but on the second floor - up a steep and narrow staircase, so not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges.)I would definitely stay at Trefoil Guest House again and will recommend it to friends.

We had a lovely weekend staying at The Trefoil. The room was very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious with excellent choice available including lots of vegetarian options. Amazing Stay at Trefoil Guest House
We stayed at Trefoil Guest House for 4 Nights and couldn’t have wished for a better place, Dave and Sue are fabulous hosts, breakfasts were amazing. Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, everything has been thought of to make it a wonderful place to stay. Close to the town and harbour. August Bank Holiday
We have just returned from a lovely stay at the Trefoil Guest House. We stayed in room (3)which is a super king on suite room shower room and it was stunning very clean, the bed and bedding was very luxurious and so comfortable. There was fresh milk, water in the room with tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was just lovely very fresh and tasty lots of choice and you don’t come away hungry as you can have a 3 course breakfast if you fancy it :). The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, they appear to be a great team and everything runs very smoothly at the Trefoil.We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again soon.

Fantastic stay at Trefoil Guest House
My partner and I had a lovely stay at Trefoil Guest House for our short break in Brixham. Susan and Dave were excellent hosts - great with communication, very welcoming and always happy to offer suggestions for places to visit and eat/drink.The room was immaculate. Bedding, furnishings, carpet etc. were all ultra-modern, but still comfortable and warm. Very fresh room (clean, airy and light) - we couldn't fault it at all.Location also good - only around 10 mins walk into the heart of town, where you'll find all of the shops, the harbour and restaurants/bars.Highly recommend anyone considering a trip to Brixham to pay Trefoil a visit. :)

Trefoil has immaculately clean rooms with plenty of tea, coffee etc provided. The breakfasts were varied and outstandingly good, whilst Susan and Dave were friendly and helpful. The site also benefits from an excellent, cheap and regular bus service into Brixham or Paignton. We really enjoyed our stay, despite some cool days !

Geweldig!
Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Trefoil Guesthouse. Suzan, Dave en Bodi hebben ons meer dan welkom laten voelen. De kamer heeft een luxe en comfortabele inrichting en het bed en de kussens liggen heerlijk en hebben luxe beddengoed. Wij hadden een kamer aan de achterkant en hebben heerlijk geslapen. Een leuke extra was de “Alexaspeaker” op de kamer, die je favoriete muziek voor je laat horen 😃 Er heerst een warme, rustige en comfortabele sfeer en Suzan en Dave zijn echt geïnteresseerd in hun gasten. Een praatje maken gaat als vanzelf. Als extra kun je een ontbijt boeken voor £8,-pp. Het Engelse ontbijt dat je daarvoor krijgt is het zeker waard. Bovendien is de ontbijtkamer erg cosy ingericht en ontmoet je zo ook de andere gasten wat wij erg gezellig vonden.Kortom: wij hebben heerlijke ontspannen dagen gehad (verbleven er 4 nachten) en raden een verblijf bij Suzan en Dave ten zeerste aan.

Perfect stay
We had an amazing five night stay and felt just like at home. Wonderful hosts and we look forward to coming again!

5*Would Highly Recommend.
We booked a mini break for three nights, would have gladly stayed for longer.Susan & Dave were excellent hosts, down to earth and welcoming! Trefoil is spotlessly clean and the decor throughout is stunning!The breakfast menu caters for everyone, portions are really generous..Also, we must mention Bodhi.. A typical daft as a brush brindle Staffy! We would have gladly taken him home with us..Thank you again Susan, Dave & Bodhi for being the perfect hosts.We will definitely be back sooner rather than later.

Our stay in Brixham
We were informed we could arrive early as our room was ready to occupy which was a bonus.On arrival we were met by a very welcoming warm friendly couple Dave and Susan who couldn't do enough to ensure our stay went smoothly.Breakfast was absolutely fantastic an excellent menu choice, with a selection which would grace any large 5 star hotel always well cooked and presented, and served by a very friendly smiling face each morning.The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed and en-suite.Should we visit that part of the country in the future we will not hesitate in contacting Dave and Sue to stay with them again.Thanks for a fantastic stay and look forward to seeing you again in the future.Peter & Andrea xx

Fantastic Break.
We stayed at Trefoil Guest House for 5 nights, the room was lovely tidy and clean with everything you needed with a fridge and bottled water supplied.The Guest House is only a short walk to Brixam Harbour and Buses run every 10 mins in each direction.The Breakfast was brilliant and catered for everyone, would definitely recommend the Full English.The hosts Dave and Sue are amazing and nothing is too much trouble.Would definitely recommend staying at Trefoil Guest House.

A short stay on my way home to visit a friend in Brixham. A very warm welcome from Susan and Peter.A fridge with fresh milk and complimentary water was a nice surprise. Breakfast was excellent and kept me going for the rest of the day. Good location just a short walk into Brixham, apart from the noisy road with free parking available.

Came to Brixham to attend a reunion. The Trefoil is perfectly located 10 min stroll into harbour. Very clean, comfortable and superb breakfast. The hosts made you feel very welcome and couldn't do enough to help. Will definitely return

Amazing stay 🤩
Susan and Dave are very welcoming! Despite us arriving many hours late due to traffic, they stayed up, waited and ensured we had everything we needed. They were very easy to talk too and nothing was ever too much trouble. The room and en-suite were exceptional - very clean and modern. A book in the room with great places to visit and eat during the stay. Parking was easy and only a short walk from the town. We will definitely be visiting again!

Fantastic experience
My wife and I originally nooked gor last year but due to unforseen circumstances we had to cancel. We rebooked for May 2023 and can honestly say the experience was excellent.I have mobility issues so we booked room 1 which with a short stair climb was superb. Bed was comfortable and all fittings were of a high standard.Breakfast delivered what we wanted and catered for my wife's gluten free issues.Dave and Sue have only taken over this b&b about 18 months ago but you would be hard to tell, they deliver a service you expect from seasoned hosts.We will be back......loved it.

Our 2 night stay
We stayed with Dave and Sue for two nights. We had a lovely, clean & comfortable room. Our hosts were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We had a lovely breakfast too. After arriving, we both said we would definitely come back! Very calm environment. 10 minute walk to Brixham harbour.

Brilliant
Nothing was too much bother. Changed our room when we got there as since booking i have had to start using a crutch. Rooms beautiful with all facilities. Breakfasts enough to keep you going all day and excellently cooked by Dave the host

B&B with a Personal Touch
We travelled from Essex on the train then on the bus from paignton. During journey we had a message from Sue and Dave, and this helped us get off at Bus Stop nearest to them, which was really helpful. A lovely Guest House and very friendly owners. Position ideal for a 10 minute walk to town and Harbour. The excellent breakfast was a great way to start the day and the room was light and airy. Very nice stay.

Pirate Weekend April/May 2023
Absolutely fabulous few days spent here withgreat hosts.Nothing was too much trouble and the guest house was faultless.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a stay here in Brixham.Will be back for sure next year at pirate festival.Thanks for having us 👍👍👍

Homely Guest House
Arrived to a lovely welcome from Dave, who showed us our lovely clean and welcoming room. Trefoil Guest House is about a 10 minute walk from Brixham town centre.Dave let us know the various good eateries when we asked.We slept really well in the massive comfortable bed.The extremely clean bed linen and towels smelt so nice. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast choices. The food was cooked and presented so beautifully.We only stopped for two evenings but wished we could have stopped longer, we were so comfortable there.Dave and Susan are excellent hosts, who we could tell really enjoyed looking after their guests.Brody their dog was also a lovely addition to this excellent Guest House.

As soon as you enter the hallway you can smellthe cleanliness.The welcome and friendliness of David andSue are just like family.Help is always at hand if you need it.My single room was exceptionally clean with lovely white bedding,great newly fitted shower room ,plenty of coffee etc supplies and a small fridge for a jug of fresh milk refilled when asked .Even..Alexa..plus TV.Do not hesitate to book you wont be sorry.I cannot comment on breakfasts as did not have but it smelt delicious.

Ideal spot from which to explore Bispham and Torbay
This was for us a comfortable little b&b with a perfectly equipped double room with sparkling modern bathroom and the loveliest of beds and bedding. The very friendly and knowledgeable owners are most accommodating and their breakfasts are as wide-ranging as they are delicious. It's short walk to town in one direction and the bus stop to Paignton and Torquay all but on the doorstep (they run every 10 minutes during the day!) so we didn't move the car at all when we stayed. Couldn't recommend enough!

We found David, Susan and their dog Brody (hopefully all spelt correctly) very polite and friendly.We found the B&B very clean and tidy including the bedroom and en-suite. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which set us up for the whole day.When we next go to Brixham will definitely try and book here again.

Fantastic stay!
We stayed for 2 nights over New Year.We had lots of communication from Sue and Dave about our arrival time.They were very welcoming when we arrived.They gave us fresh milk for the tea and coffee in the room which we could keep in the fridge.The room was immaculately clean and just right for 2 nights.There was a lovely choice of breakfasts to choose from.The full english was enormous!The house is beautiful and we felt at home there.We would definitely recommend it and we will be back!Thank you

Lovely stay back at the Trfoil
It was lovely meeting the new owners of the Terfoil Sue and Dave they made us feel very welcome our room was beautiful amazing on suite bathroom tea and coffee was in our room and the bed was so comfortable. Fantastic you won’t find a better place to stay
Dave and Susan are so welcoming they do anything to make your stay perfect An example ….we met Dave on our first evening whilst he was walking into Brixham and we were walking back to their guesthouse, we mentioned we were calling at a shop for a couple of canned gin and tonics. When we got back Susan gave us ice and lemon to take to our room. I was amazedhe’d called her to ask her to get ice ready …. Little things like this made our stay so wonderful You really won’t find a better place to stay ….only 10 mins walk to the Harbour ,so much going on we are going back there again and again good base for exploring the English Riviera and way beyond

having at trefoil on 5 occasions 2 over the last 6 weeks it is most definitely 5 star dave and sueowners who run it are second to none really nice, 100% helpful, all rooms in fact whole house immaculately clean nothing is a problem, breakfast is the best massive you would just love it as we do we are going back in September very highly recommended, 10-minute walk to the harbor and shops

This is simply the best B&B we have ever stayed at. Susan and Dave are the perfect hosts, who could not have made us more welcome. The property is beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished and Dave’s cooked breakfasts are amazing! Wonderful stay at trefoil
Sue and dave are lovely people offering a warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are tastefully furnished, comfy beds and pillows. A delicious and varied breakfast was a treat and a good way to start the day. Useful information available in the rooms and by the hosts. It's a pleasure to see sue and dave so happy in their work. 15 minutes walk into town and on to the harbour. An ideal base to explore the surrounding area of torbay and dartmouth. We were sad to leave but hope to return.

Most Excellent Stay
When I arrived at the Trefoil Guest House I received a warm welcome from Sue and Dave. I had had a text earlier saying my room was ready if I wanted to check in early, which was good to know. Sue told me everything I needed to know about the hotel and showed me to my room. The room itself was decorated to a high standard and had everything I needed for my stay including a mini fridge with a nice cold bottle of water inside. Due to the warm weather, the fridge came in very handy. An umbrella on the back of the bedroom door was also a nice touch, luckily I didn’t need it. During my stay I was out all day and it was reassuring to know I was going back to a nice and quiet hotel and a room with a very comfortable bed. Only being a few minutes walk from the harbour is another plus. I am sure I will be visiting Brixham again and I will not hesitate to book my stay at the Trefoil Guest House. I will also not hesitate to recommend it to anyone that is thinking of going to Devon. A big thank you to Sue and Dave for having a wonderful guest house and for making my stay a very pleasant one.

Visit to Brixham in June 2022
We stayed at Trefoil House in June for 5 nights. We both agree that it was the nicest guest house or b&b that we have ever stayed at. From the moment we booked it to the moment we left the owners Sue and Dave couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.The room passed all our expectations and was really nice and clean and beautifully decorated. A mini fridge in the room was a nice bonus.The location is perfect just a short walk to the harbour with a bus stop just outside with frequent buses to Paignton and Torquay. Parking was very easy with spaces outside on the opposite side of the road and lots of parking very close if required.On arrival Sue and Dave gave us a very warm welcome and told us about the guest house and room and answered any questions that we had. The breakfast menu is really good and the best that we have seen. We had something different every day and the food was of a high standard and delicious.All the guests that we spoke to agreed it was a lovely guest house and both couples had stayed there on several occasions.Brixham is not only nice but a great central location for exploring. The Trefoil House is in a very good location close enough to the harbour for an easy walk but with the benefit of plentiful places to park. We did not need to drive once with easy access to buses and ferries.We both would thoroughly recommend Trefoil House as a place to stay and are looking forward to staying there again.

Room 1 is a lovely room; we often receive complimentary comments on it and how comfortable the bed is. A huge welcome after your many jaunts exploring the area. The mini fridge does help on those warm days and you were fortunate to experience some glorious weather. The Breakfast Room is a little quieter at the moment! We absolutely delighted in hearing the laughter and conversation drifting back to the kitchen during your stay. As new owners it is everything we could ever wish for; knowing our guests are enjoying themselves and the company of other guests. Incredibly heartwarming and satisfying. Trefoil break June 2022

Amazing stay!
My friend and I have stayed at Trefoil for several years but this was the first time with the new owners. They could not have been more accommodating with anything we wanted. The food was delicious and included a wide range of options. The room was spotless and perfect location to the Harbour of Brixham and to top it off daily cuddles from their 7 month old puppy was a bonus for me. Will definitely be returning.

Brilliant B&B
We had an excellent stay at Trefoil and Susan & David could not have been more accommodating. Our large room was very clean and tastefully decorated complete with a very comfortable bed and excellent en-suite. Breakfast was delicious and worth the visit alone! Ideally situated within walking distance of the harbour and visiting surrounding towns like Dartmouth and Totnes.We hope to return and can thoroughly recommend staying there.

What a gem..
We had a 3 night stay & What a gem this place is, after a warm welcome I was shown to my beautiful room , it was Spotlessly clean, with an Amazingly Comfy bed , fluffy towels, super hot shower. & Delicious breakfasts. Everything you could wish for. The hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly. I would definitely highly recommend & we will definitely be back.

A very pleasant break/stay at Trefoil to support my National Trust volunteering placement. Near to x2 NT estates and within walking distance of the main town Brixham. Overall care, comfort and fab breakfast as requested. Superb stay
We are well travelled and stayed at many B and B accommodations, Trefoil hotel in Brixham is by far the best. Ash and Bev were very welcoming and made us feel very comfortably. Their hotel a short walk from the town centre and our room was delightful. We will certain book with them when we visit Brixham again.

Trefoil is a place to recommend and return to
Ben and Ash go above and beyond all that is expected of Guest House owners. They have created a COVID-19 safe, but welcoming environment for guests that might feel uneasy about going on holiday.Our room with a super sized bed was very comfortable and the big fluffy towels could be replaced on request. The breakfasts are really good! Ash's fried bread is delicious.Trefoil is about a 15 minute walk from the harbour area. For those who would like a break from driving, the number 12 bus to Paignton and Torquay runs every 10 minutes, the bus stop is a minute away.Bev and Ash's restaurant recommendations were very good and prebooking is well advised as most are very busy. All in all Trefoil is a great place to stay in a lovely part of Devon.

Have just stayed at this wonderful guest house. We received the warmest of welcomes from Bev and Ash, who were always ready to recommend local places to visit and eat. A comfortable and friendly stay
We reallt enjoyed staying at Trefoil Guest House. The property is so close to Brixham Town centre and Bev and Ash were really friendly and welcoming. Our room was ready at hour before it was supposed to be and the email we received pre-visit with recommendations for restaurants and beaches was fab. Our room was spotless, with everything we needed. Excellent Stay
There isn’t much more I can say other than our stay at Trefoil was perfect. Bev and Ash were the perfect hosts in every way. The breakfast was just superb and nothing was too much trouble. Incredible and comfortable stay!
Myself and my partner recently stayed at the Trefoil Guest House for 3 nights. From the moment we stepped into the guest house, Ashley and Beverly were so kind and welcoming. They explained all we needed to know before showing us to our room.The room was impeccable, it was beautifully decorated and cleaned to the highest standard. It was clear that Ashley and Beverly had thought carefully about the home comforts to include in the room. They even provided us with fresh milk to place in the small fridge in the room, just in case we wanted to make a warm cup of tea throughout our day.Breakfast was delightful in the dining room. Beverly messaged us both the night before to ask for our order to ensure they had everything prepared. Our breakfast was always freshly made, on time and delicious!During our stay, we were unsure of the sights to see in the area, Ashley and Beverly listened carefully to our interests and recommended places to eat and gave us clear directions of places to visit. They also had lots of leaflets in their entrance to browse.We were overjoyed with our stay at Trefoil Guest House! If we could give it more than 5 stars we would!

100% YOU WILL GO BACK!!
First time in Brixham for me and what a find Trefoil Guest House was, Bev & Ash were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, plus cooked breakfast at £5 is a bargain and the produce used is of a very high standard. There is parking outside for 2 cars or over the road plus just around the corner, it depends what time you arrive. Rooms have all you will need for your stay, are spotless, plus so safe during the pandemic with all protocols in place. It's a 10/15 min walk into the harbour where there are many cafes, pubs, restaurants to chose from, you will be spoilt for choice. So give Trefoil a try you won't regret it.

In all seriousness we're the kind of people who always look for a new place to stay in, but this is one of those times when we felt so welcome that we'd love to return. Breakfast was very good, especially the pancakes. Our room was lovely and sparkly clean and had everything we needed in it. There are 2 parking spots in the front but you can park the car on the opposite side.

Wish we could have stayed longer
We had a great time at Trefoil Guest House. Bev and Ash are lovely hosts and make you feel very welcome. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean (as was the whole house) and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was always excellent and there was plenty of it with lots of different options to take your fancy. It was about a ten minute walk into town which was fine and being slightly out of town made the parking a lot easier. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this guest house to others and hope to return sometime soon.

Excellent stay
This was our 2nd time staying at Trefoil and have to say, this was even better than the first time. The room was lovely, comfy bed, plenty of storage space and quiet as was at the back of the house. The perfect UK break

Brilliant stay, brilliant hosts
From the moment we arrived until the moment we left our hosts Bev and Ash looked after us perfectly.Our room was perfect for our stay, spotlessly clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable with luxurious linens.I was amazed at the options available for breakfast, you would be very hard pushed not to find something you like.The full English was brilliant, made using all local ingredients it will set you up for the day.Trefoil is a 10 minute stroll from Brixham harbour, which is great if you don't want to be surrounded by the hustle and bustle all the time - it also means it's easier to park. It's also very handy for the bus to Paignton and Torquay if you fancy a day out there.Bev and Ash were kind enough to send us details of local restaurants and local attractions ahead of our stay which was really handy as it enabled us to book restaurants well in advance - very important during Covid restrictions as space was limited.Top tip for your trip - take the ferry from Brixham round to Dartmouth and then the steam train from Kingswear across to Paignton - all included in the price of one ticket down at Brixham harbour. Great day out.I was really torn about writing this review.On the one hand I wanted to thank Bev and Ash for a brilliant stay, but on the other hand I wanted to keep it quiet because if too many know how good it is there might not be room the next time we want to visit.

Lovely room, massive bed!
We had a 3 night stay, visiting friends and would thoroughly recommend.Clean, friendly and felt very Covid safe here.We were able to park on the front drive for 2 nights, the third we parked around the corner with no problems.Great breakfast, set us up for the day, all freshly cooked.If we ever needed accommodation in Brixham again would be our first choice.

If you are lucky enough to get booked into this guest house you will not be disappointed. The owners Bev and Ash are a lovely couple who make you extremely welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast choices were excellent and if there was anything more that you wanted they were more than happy to oblige.The Guest House is situated in an ideal situation for a pleasant 10 min. Walk to the harbour and on a regular bus route. There is free parking on the premises and around. We were there for 4 nights and would highly recommend this Guest House.

My husband and I recently had an enjoyable 4-night stay. Our room was beautiful, bright, spacious, clean, quiet and most importantly, incredibly comfortable. I have stayed at Trefoil for many years now and still can't fault it. The rooms, cleaniness amd food are amazing and hosts Bev and Ash are so accommodating that anything you need is found. A little gem
Bev and Ash are fantastic hosts nothing too much trouble, communication was great as we were meant to stay last year and had to transfer our visit due to covid.Food was excellent and tea/coffee replenished as required.I would recommend Trefoil to anyone staying around the Brixham area and we will hopefully return before too long.

Clean and spacious

Absolutely Fabulous
From the moment we booked Bev and Ash were very informative.They supplied us with a list of restuarants and things to do.Bev even booked a couple of restaurants for us prior to arrival and mentioned it was my birthday - nice surprise when I got to restaurant.On arrival at Trefoil we were met by Ash and Bev who ran through the Covid regulations.They did their utmost to keepus safe.These had also been sent to us previously.The guest house was absolutely spotless and social distancing and Masks were adhered to.We had room 5 on top floor.So quiet, beautifully furnished and the bed was so comfy.We had the continental breakfast one day and it was so fresh and tasty.As it was my birthday we were welcomed with a card and bottle of fizz which was such a lovely touch.Ash and Bev were so informative and great hosts and we highly recommend Trefoil.It was a 10 minute walk into town but there is a bus stop across the road with buses running every 12 minutes up till 7pm and then every 20 mins.If you are looking to go to Brixham this is the place to stay.We will be back.Thank you for everything Ash and Bev.

Great all round
Stayed for 3 nights. Location is great, short walk to town centre. My room was really clean, the bed was very comfortable and the decor in the room was pretty. The owners are very friendly and flexible and go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. The breakfast was amazing, excellent quality and fresh ingredients. I loved waking up to the smell of freshly baked croissants! Who wouldn’t!? Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Outstanding Guest House in Brixham
From the moment we arrived at Trefoil Guest House the owners Bev and Ash were friendly, helpful and very anxious that we should feel safe from a Covid point of view in their house.I can honestly say they could not have put any more measures in place than they are doing.They are both working so hard to keep up a very high standard of cleanliness.Our room was spotless with great shower, gorgeously thick fluffy white towels and a very generous continental breakfast which was left outside our room every morning having let us know it was there with a text.We had plenty of nice choices for breakfast and there was enough left over for us to enjoy later in the day!Bev and Ash were always on hand to answer any questions.I would thoroughly recommend this Guest House and thank you Bev and Ash for a fabulous stay. Great place
We were so happy staying with Bev and Ash. Their guest house is very comfortable and has a very good location in a walking distance to the harbour.The room was very nice and tidy and in these Covid times our hosts were really fantastic and did an amazing job to make us fell "safe" and relaxed.Bev and Ash took the time to share info about good local restaurants and sights with us and they were so friendly and nice people. They even went the extra mile to find a charger for us. If/when we are coming back to Brixham we will stay there again for sure. Wonderful place and so kindly and helpful hosts. Welcoming stay at Trefoil
Trefoil gest house ,we was welcomed in by the owners explained everything to us with regards covid safety measures ,our room was nu 6 ,it was bright and beautifully decorated ,and the furniture was really nicely chosen very modern, lots of plug points for USB and hairdryer etc ,the breakfast was continental style with fresh baked breads and pastries daily to choose from ,location was a 10 minute walk away from the shops and harbour, we enjoyed our stay and looked at a larger room equally beautifully decorated and faced the back of the house ,which would be quieter from the road out front ,wouldn't hesitate to stay again ,thank you both for a lovely stay ????????????

Wonderful stay at Trefoil Guest House
My boyfriend and I stayed at Trefoil for 3 nights in August. Considering all that is currently going on in the world, the stay was wonderful and I couldn't fault any part of it. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, Ash & Bev were very friendly and very accommodating hosts. We had the breakfast on our final morning (continental style) which was great and just what we needed before heading off early to the beach. They also provided fresh milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch for our hot drinks in the AM :) Will definitely return!

We have just had 3 nights at Trefoil and can only recommend this lovely guest houseWe were given a warm welcome and made to feel very safe during these strange times. Reassuring and so thoughtful
Just returned from the Trefoil after a 4 night break.Bev & Ash are lovely welcoming hosts and have thought of everything for your comfort and assurance in these challenging times.The location is ideal for a short stroll down to the harbour, no steps or hills to climb.Our room was at the front and was very tasteful and the bed was huge and one of the most comfortable we ve ever slept on.Hopefully soon we will be able to sample a cooked breakfast there but it was no hardship to stroll down to the front for a classic English.Thanks again ????????????

Another great stay
Trefoil is a very well decorated and comfy guest house, also spotlessly clean.The owners Bev & Ash are very welcoming and go out there way to make your stay pleasurable. Beverly was on her own when we stayed. She looked after us superbly. Room was lovely. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and original. Beverly was happy for our daughter to come for breakfast which was special. Lovely bathroom and huge shower. It's always the little touches that make the difference especially when there are so many b and b's. There are plenty at Trefoil, eg swimming towels, provision to have a takeaway downstairs, parking. Easy walking distance into town.Only slight niggle was the constant gurgle of water from what I assume was the water tank in the roof space above our room, but I don't think there is anything you could do about it.Thank you.

Quick visit
It was many years since any of us had stayed in a B & B so were pleasantly surprised to fibd such a delightful, well decorated and clean one. The rooms,are decorated to a very high standard and tbe prices are very reasonable . We were extremely comfortable and well looked after by our hosts, Bev and Ash, whoae breakfasts are stunning. We will definitely return when the weather is better. We were sble to walj into town, about 10 mins walk. Lots fo see and do, not so much in wibter but the town is buzzing in tbe summer months.

A well run, comfortable guest house with excellent breakfast
I stayed for 4 nights in October. Very friendly and professional staff couldn’t have done more to make me welcome and expertly accommodated. My single room was beautifully appointed, with en-suit facilities. Checking in late was not a problem either.

Faultless mini break
A great 3 night stay, fantastic hosts and a lovely place to stay. The en-suite room was exceptionally comfortable, large, bright and Modern. Quality breakfast which was enjoyed everyday. Bev and Ash couldn't do enough for you. The position was good with a ten minute walk to the Harbour or a bus every 10 minutes

Wonderful Brixham Jewel
What a wonderful place! Stayed there twice now and on both occasions Bev and Ashley have done their upmost to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are fantastically elegantly decorated with good quality facilities and a decent sized TV! The breakfast is a sight to behold with a lovely choice of different options for vegetarians, vegans and meat eaters alike.There is a good selection of both cooked and cold options, together with cereals and fruit juices and fresh fruit. Local attractions, live music, pubs and restaurants are highlighted on the chalkboard by the front door and on an array of leaflets and promotional material so that you feel like you have got all the information you require at your fingertips. A wonderful place that we will be visiting again for sure. Thank you Bev and Ash!!!!

Thank you for a very enjoyable stay at your b&b we thought the accommodation was excellent very clean and you both work hard to keep good standards we had a very terrible trip home took us 8 hours as problems on the underground changing trains up team times apart from that glad to be back home to the washing etc we would like to come next year but I think if we are both well enough but this time by car tank you both again for a lovely holiday Mrs Janice Hawes and robin Hawes x

Bank Holiday stay (5 nights)
Well what a bit of luck that we dropped onto this guess house, the hosts, Bev & Ash are absolutely fab, a warm welcome, the rooms are spacious and very well presented, with some lovely touches, the breakfast is to die for....Easy car parking, either on site or on street. The guest house is only a short walk from Brixham centre and public transport (bus or sea) are easy to catch. We would highly recommend this guess house and will definitely be back

Lovely B&B close to Brixham Harbour and Town

A very welcoming couple who make you feel at home straight away. Comfortable room with all you need and a shower with some oomph (which makes a change!) Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. A bit more of a walk to the harbour etc. but hey the exercise does you good.

Wonderful comfortable Brixham nook
Beverly and ash are very gracious hosts and do their upmost to make me feel welcomed and comfortable in their beautiful guesthouse. Nothing is too much trouble for them and I really care about making the guests stay a memorable one.The beds are very comfortable, breakfast hearty and filling with lots of choice and the location of the place means that you are close to Brixham itself but also far enough away to easily venture further afield to the neighbouring towns and attractions.A fantastic place that I shall definitely be booking again and one of the best Devon guesthouse stays I have ever had

There is no better place to stay than here. It is a beautiful place Bev and Ash make you feel so welcome. The room is spotless. The bathroom is not just functionable but luxurious with everything you need. To say it's a home from home is a under statement. The breakfast is beautifully cooked. What can I say but thank you, to both Bev and Ash really enjoyed our stay.When we first arrived we were offered drinks, also given a bottle of water to take up to the room, which had a small fridge with fresh milk in it, always a plus for tea and coffee. The place was spotlessly clean.Our room had the most flamboyant chandler, when the sun hit it, you saw little dancing rainbows all over the wall, beautiful. Room was large, hugh bed, and well decorated, shower was big enough for two, the only thing, the shower was noisy, but saying that it was one of the best I have had as it was so powerful, so it counter acted the noise. You had a lot of choice for breakfast which was cooked just right.We will be back, overall excellent B&B.

Fabulous !
We were greeted with the warmest welcome and shown to our beautiful room. Everything had been thought of....heated towel rail, hair drier, large bundle of luxerious white fluffy towels, Remote TV etc etc. And the cooked breakfast was second to none washed down with plenty of hot fresh coffee - perfect !

Another Fantastic Break
This is our second time visiting the Trefoil and we wouldn't staying anywhere else in Brixham. Ash and Bev maintain a very high standards throughout; spotless luxury rooms, fabulous breakfast with top quality ingredients and of course a friendly warm welcome. A 10 minute walk takes you to the harbour; we visited just after New Year and were delighted to stay in Room 1 (a newly refurbished double room with walk in shower). Extras such as Smart TV inc Netflix and Prime, Pod coffee machine, mini fridge. There is also a selections of glasses available in the hall cabinet for cheeky G&T's!! Highly recommend.

Brilliant
We stayed at Trefoil with Bev and Ash from 22nd November to 25th November 2018 for the Lantern and firework weekend.They were amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble, the house was very warm and welcoming and clean. Breakfast was amazing we would recommend this to anyone.

We have just returned from a weekend away in Brixham and had the pleasure of staying at the Trefoil Guest house. From the moment I booked, the service was amazing, right from the communication leading up to arrival. Relaxing weekend break
For our first visit to Brixham this is guest house was conveniently positioned. It has easy parking and is only a 10 - 15 minute walk down to the harbour.The room was clean and comfy with everything thing we needed and a great shower! They even provide a fridge for fresh milk in your morning cup of tea!The owners are welcoming and friendly - nothing seemed too much trouble.The breakfast is home cooked and the only problem is what to chose from the delicious options available!!We would definitely recommend and hope to return.

The hosts are welcoming and eager to ensure that their guests have a pleasant stay.Breakfast is excellent, and the rooms are clean and comfortable.Limited parking is available on site, but free spaces can easily be found in nearby streets.Would recommend for a relaxing break in Devon.

Our stay at Trefoil
We stayed at Trefoil for our Anniversary a couple of weeks ago. Ash and Bev were very welcoming and there was nothing that was too much trouble. We found our room was lovely, the breakfast menu was amazing, it had a wide choice of food from the traditional full english to pancakes!! Everything is cooked fresh to order and tasted awesome. On the morning of our anniversary we were given a card from Ash and Bev which was a lovely gesture. Have never felt so at home in a B&B. Would definitely reccomend to anyone!! We are definitely planning on going back!!

One Week Holiday
We have just had a lovely holiday in Brixham. We would all recommend it. It was our second visit to Brixham / the Trefoil this year and there are still loads of new things to do and places to visit. We'll be back!

Outstanding guest experience
Wonderful guest house, beautifully styled, comfortable bed and lovely people. Lots of extra little touches like the fridge in the dining room containing bottles of water and insulated bottles of fresh milk for you to help yourself to for your room, without having to ask. Everything was very clean and the food was excellent.The only things I would point out are that room 4 (single) faces onto a road which can be quite busy so if you are a light sleeper, a room at the back wd be better, and maybe a lace blind or some etching on the window wd help as it is such a big window that if you have the curtains open, you lack privacy. The en-suite shower is on the small side if you are a 'larger' person and could feel a little claustrophobic. However, I paid a very reasonable price and these are only minor comments. Parking was ok...either on the front forecourt or on the road opposite...I never had a problem finding a space.All in all, a beautiful b&b and a lovely experience.

Partner of J Tabram, my first stay here was superb the rooms are delightful spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The food is excellent. Bev and Ash are like family, nothing is too much trouble. If there is anything at all that needed changing, it was done immediately. It certainly won’t be my last visit here.

Room 3 Trefoil Guest House
Beverly and Ashley are very friendly and knowledgeable hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and at home straightaway!Only suggestion I would like to make is that because room 3 is at front of house there is some traffic noise if windows need to be open in warm weather especially at night. It might be helpful to have a small electric fan in the room to make it more comfortable if windows need to be closed.

You enter as strangers and leave as friends, that's the little sign in the hallway.This is true, from the moment you enter this lovely guest house, you are made to feel at home. what a lovely B&B, the house was decorated beautifully making the original features the star attraction. The room was light and spacious, that was beautifully finished. We recently travelled to Brixham for my birthday and stayed in trefoil guest house for 2 nights it is a lovely house just a short 10 minute walk to the harbour so very well situated .Bev and Ash are fantastichosts the double room we stayed in was beautifully furnished with a very comfortablebed and spotless . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trefoil the welcome and service we received was second to none we cant recommend it highly enough . THANK YOU Bev and Ash.

Another good stay at the Trefoil Guest House
The weather was interesting but we made it to Brixham. There was a warm welcome and our room was excellent. Breakfast had lots of choices and any combination you would like.We are going back later in the year. well done to Beverley and Ashley.

Wonderful stay at Trefoil Guest House
Wonderful stay at Trefoil Guest House. Ash and Bev are fantastic hosts and nothing was to much trouble for them. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable with lovely accessories. The breakfasts were wonderful and plentiful. I would not have any hesitation in recommending this guest house. Thank you Ash and Bev for your kind and helpful hospitality during our stay.

Great breakfast !!
Very nice, clean accommodation. Lovely breakfast with good choices. Ash and Bev were great hosts.

Short stay
Stayed in room 3 and was even better than expected with a free upgrade, the bed was so comfortable, and all the furnishings are very good quality. The whole B & B is spotless and decorated and furnished to high standards and very stylish. The restaurants, pubs and harbour are all a very short walk away, so the location is perfect. Ash’s breakfasts were first class, fresh fruit, cereals, toast and perfectly cooked full English. Bev was very help full, suggesting places to eat etc. What more can I say, I really cannot fault it. We had a lovely short weekend away here, Ash and Bev are superb hosts. Nothing was to much trouble for them. Would recommend and would stay again.

Excellent Trip
Both myself and my business partner needed to stay in Brixham for three nights, the accommodation and owner were excellent and very accommodating. The food was excellent and the rooms plenty big enough and clean. Would highly recommend Trefoil to others thinking about staying in Brixham. We will definitely be back.
